Library Primo Frequently Asked Questions

Send us your Library Primo questions! We'll answer and share them here.

I've found the article I was looking for, but when I click on the database to link to the full-text article, I get an error. What am I doing wrong?

Probably nothing! Occasionally, you'll come across broken links in our catalogue. Please email library@auarts.ca and send us a link and/or screenshots of the title and error message and we'll follow-up. Usually, these issues are resolved quickly, but if not, we can usually send you a digital copy while we are repairing the broken link.

I am searching for an article that I know has been published. How come it's not showing up in my results?

One reason why the article might not be showing up is that it is published in a journal which is not part of the databases and/or packages to which we subscribe. You may still be able to access detailed bibliographic information about the article (just NOT the full-text) when you select the Expand My Results box under the left-hand menu. See Primo Bells and Whistles for more information on how to expand results beyond only full-text availability.
