Esotericism is understood pragmatically as an umbrella term that covers a variety of historical currents, including but not limited to Gnosticism, Hermetism, theurgy, the Islamic science of letters, the “occult sciences” (magic, alchemy, astrology), kabbalah, Paracelsianism, Rosicrucianism, theosophy, illuminism, spiritualism and occultism, tantra and yoga, psychical research, traditionalism, neopaganism, alternative spiritualities, conspirituality, popular occulture, etc. Aries is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal publishing articles and book reviews in English, French, German, and Italian.

Published under the auspices of the European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism (ESSWE).

International Journal of Conscientiology (open-access, peer-reviewed)

The International Journal of Conscientiology is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal which publishes annually papers dealing with all specialties of conscientiology, a neoscience that studies consciousness, primarily under the premisses of the consciential paradigm, in an integral, holosomatic, bioenergetic, multidimensional, and multiexistential way. The main goal is to exchange experiences and scientific results on conscientiological research seeking to expand the scientificity of the internationalization of conscientiology.
