If an item is not available because it is on loan to someone else, AUArts faculty, students and staff may request the item online when signed into Primo through MyApps. The library does not not retrieve available items for pick-up.
When an item is requested by another patron, the current borrower will be notified by email that someone has requested the item. The current borrower will no longer able to renew the item and may also have the due date shortened. When the requested item is returned to the library, requesters are notified by email that their item is available for pick-up at the library front desk.
Loans, renewals and requests may all be managed through My Library Account in Primo.
